Giovanni Giuntoli began his career as a hair artist 13 years ago in Chicago then in 1995 moved to New York to further his career as a freelance hair artist.

Giuntoli, who in addition does men's grooming and make-up, has done photo shoots for Nylon, Cosmopolitan, O The Oprah Magazine, WWD, Lucky, Glamour, and Armani Exchange to name a few. He has also keyed the hair teams for such designers as Michael by Michael Kors, Morgan D'Alessandro, and Abaete during New York Fashion Week. Giuntoli continues to key runway shows during fashion week for a variety of designers.

Giovanni works part time at Cutler Salon in both their uptown and SoHo locations and is a performing artist for Redken where he trains fellow stylists on how to achieve beautiful and fashionable hair. In addition, Giovanni began Tearsheet, an editorial, hands-on class, designed for hairstylists wanting to see their work in magazines or just to learn the secrets to the styles their clients bring in to them.
